Techpak

MISSION: To ignite an interest in STEM learning to prepare our youth to compete globally through analytical thinking and design learning that fosters creativity and innovation.


What is techpak?

Techpak is a one-day STEM workshop sponsored by Internet Essentials from Comcast. This is an event for 500 students in K – 12th grade.

This will give students the opportunity to participate in a free STEM hands on experience with the chance to interact with professionals in various STEM fields.

Students will participate in techpak activities based on their grade levels:

K – 5th grade: The Bear Cubs

  • Lego Engineering
  • Aviation (Air Plane Building)

6th-8th: The Lion Pak

  • Coding Robotics
  • Web Development
  • App Coding

9th-12th: The Wolf Pak

  • Cyber Security
  • Open Source
  • 3D Printing
  • Drone Operations

Program includes:

  • Free Lunch & snacks
  • Hands on activities
  • T-shirts & Giveaways

Techpak is an event with the family in mind. Parents are encouraged to join. While at techpak, parents will learn:

  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Internet Safety

*Childcare will be provide for children 4 and under*
