For 22 years, [Houston Hispanic Forum’s] Career and Education Day has been an opportunity for Hispanic Leaders in the Houston area to excite students about the possibilities of different professions.

I applaud the Houston Hispanic Forum and all who helped make Career and Education Day possible.  Career and Education Day is creating a more informed and better prepared populace by providing information about careers, colleges and financial aid to students and parents

Organizations such as the Houston Hispanic Forum are stellar examples of community support for high achievement.  I commend the leaders who are participating in this Career and Education Day for taking the time to say to young people in the Hispanic Community that we know you can succeed in challenging courses in school and in challenging professions; we have high goals for you, and we will support you in achieving them.
